About This Waterfall
Gluterfossen is a somewhat obscure waterfall located at the head of Erstaddalen in Rauma. We've seen sources cite the falls as dropping approximately 170 meters, however the limited topographic maps we've been able to find to try to corroborate this suggest that it may not be more than about 120-140 meters. The Glutra is a partially regulated stream, diverted by a dam which impounds Grøttavatnet and part of the Grytten Hydroelectric system which also impacts nearby Mongefossen and Mardalsfossen.
