Gold Bar Natural Spring, Edmonton, AB, T6A 2E9

The trail runs along the northwest side of Pigeon Lake and was used for centuries by native people. A trail that ran alongside the artesian well provided water for both animals and humans. The Rev. Robert Rundle, in 1847, chose this spot for his mission.

This is spring that is open to the general public. This spring is highly utilized by a small number of people.
Camrose is about 63 miles away. The flow comes from two pipes that are high enough off.
The ground can be used to fill larger vessels.

Take the road to Tillicum Beach, range road 200. Turn left and follow the indications.
South of the lake, approximately 13 km. Slow down when you begin to see the lake.
You will see metal guard railings at the side. Turn right.
Continue on the right for 50 yards and you'll see the spring. The
County maintains the road to spring in winter.
