About This Waterfall
Gordons Falls is listed as an officially named geographical feature by the USGS, however topographic data and aerial imagery make it abundantly clear that no waterfall of any sort exists at this location - not even the most subtle of rapids. Two possibilities may exist for this discrepancy; either the location of the falls provided by the USGS is incorrect, or minor rapids existed here in the past which have subsequently been destroyed by flooding.
