About This Waterfall
Gunpowder Falls appears to be a small cascade of about 5 vertical feet along the Little Gunpowder River near Parkton. There is some confusion around this waterfall in part because the USGS lists the Gunpowder River and Little Gunpowder River as being officially named "Gunpowder Falls" and "Little Gunpowder Falls" respectively. From what we can tell, there are no legitimate waterfalls on the Gunpowder River itself, and this is the only one of significance on the Little Gunpowder.
