About This Waterfall
Hanging Lake is fed by the melt streams emanating from several small glaciers on Middle Peak, as well as the outflow from Upper Hanging Lake. At least a half dozen waterfalls can be seen streaming into Hanging Lake from its shore, but the largest of the group is the falls along the outlet to the aforementioned upper lake, which looks to be in the range of 400+ feet tall. Access to Hanging Lake is said to be quite arduous and is not recommended.
