About This Waterfall
The hand-drawn maps in the old Harvey Manning authored Footsore series of hiking guidebooks for the Puget Sound region indicated a small waterfall along Hannan Creek near where the road used to access Cherry Creek Falls crosses the stream. Nothing resembling a waterfall has been found in the area, and while the terrain about one-third of a mile upstream from the road looks more promising, it seems more likely than not that no waterfall exists along Hannan Creek.
