About This Waterfall
Harmony Falls formerly sprayed about 120 feet near Spirit Lake, but the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens sent a landslide into Spirit Lake which raised the level of the lake and submerged the falls. The name has been incorrectly used since the eruption to describe a series of small cascades on Harmony Creek upstream from its current mouth. Any waterfalls which may occur in the area cannot be accessed due to the hazardous condition closure surrounding the north side of the volcano.
