About This Waterfall
Honk Falls is a significant fall along Rondout Creek near the town of Napanoch. The falls can be partially seen from the bridge spanning Rondout Creek on Route 55, but whether closer access is allowed is not clear. The property to the west of the creek is likely to be posted but there may be trails on the east side of the creek. As always, please heed any Posted or No Trespassing signs which may be encountered.Honk Falls was once known as Horse Falls, name is from "Hannek," meaning "a fast stream".
