Description

Description
The pipes are made from plastic and can be accessed right off the road. It is free-flowing, and it is cold. Nestle bottles water from that county. My husband's grandfather used to drive all the way from his home to get it, even though he owned a spring. He claimed it was the best tasting water in the region.

Downtown Cookeville (Interstate 40 & Willow Ave SR135): 1) Continue north on Willow Ave, SR135 for 10 miles. This becomes Dodson Branch Highway. 2) After passing Anita's Cafe on the left, turn right onto Zion Road. 3) In less than half an mile, make your first right onto Albert Swift Lane. 6) Follow the road along the side and follow the trail to the mailbox or cabin. This will take you half a mile down into the hollows.

This natural spring water in Woodbury, Tennessee, USA, flows naturally through several PVC pipes, with a black pipe driven deep into the rock, and falls onto the ground. Being in the woods, the water site is available to the public 24/7. You can harvest as much water as you want. Just bring your own containers. Unfortunately, the water quality has not yet been tested by anyone so drink at your own risk.

Directions:
Assuming you are starting from Woodbury, TN, USA. The route is 7.7 miles long and is set to take you about 10 to 12 minutes. Start your journey by heading eastward on route 70S (W Main Street). After 1.4 miles, turn left onto route TN-53 also called Gassaway Road and head for another 1.5 miles before leaving TN-53 taking a right onto Stones River Road. Stay on the Stones River Road for exactly 5.3 miles and then park the car to get out and find the spring on foot. You will find signboards signaling the exact location of the spring.

The spring is located in the middle of the woods so pack your hiking shoes because you might need to walk around on foot.
