Name of Waterfall

Kalambo Falls

Description

Located at the very southern end of Lake Tanganyika, Kalambo Falls is one of the more famous waterfalls in Africa. The vertical drop of the falls is 726 feet, however, it seems to be fairly common that the falls be referenced as being over 1000 feet tall, up to 1200 feet total. This could only be the case if the height estimates include the elevation change between the brink of the falls and Lake Tanganyika below.
