About This Waterfall
Lake Fork Falls is a narrow set of cascades which drop about 300 feet down a very constricted cleft in the side of the Depot Creek valley about half of a mile from the much larger Depot Creek Falls. Below the falls the creek cascades down a long talus slope and the nature and form of the falls makes identifying the bottom of the waterfall quite difficult. There is an extremely narrow window from which the falls can be seen from the Depot Creek trail, but the trailside views are mostly obscured by trees. Clear views will likely require scrambling around for a bit.
