About This Waterfall
Little Mineral Falls is a small volume waterfall which can be partially seen along the Hoh River Trail in Olympic National Park. The falls drop a total of 89 feet down a steep moss covered slope, first veiling over bedrock and then transitioning to more of a stair-step type cascade. Unfortunately due to the way the falls descend in its gully, and the thick forest growth around the stream, it isn't possible to achieve a clear or unobstructed view of the falls in any meaningful way. Additionally, several large logs have fallen across the falls near the bottom of the largest portion of the descent, which makes viewing even part of the falls up close difficult (as can be illustrated by the extreme angle in the attached image). This waterfall nor its stream are known to have any official or historically recognized name. We've opted to title it to reflect its neighboring position to Mineral Creek Falls, just a few hundred feet to the west.
