Lower Englishman River Falls

Exit Highway 19 at Parksville and drive west for 5km along Highway 4, then turn left onto Errington Road and drive another 8km to its end at the park. Hike the loop trail to the lower bridge over the river to view the falls.The lower falls of the Englishman River are not nearly as impressive as its upstream counterpart but it is much more visible and just as scenic. The falls drop about 25 feet into a deep blue pool flanked by the steep cliffs of the canyon and are viewed from a footbridge spanning the lower end of the gorge.
