About This Waterfall

Lupin Falls is a pretty but low volume waterfall found along the Buttle Lake / Westmin Mine Road in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island. The falls spray about 100 feet down a dark cliff then drop an additional 20 feet over a smaller fall at its base. Because of the small drainage area the falls lose much of their luster by mid summer and may actually run dry late in the year.
