The property was posted. Our understanding is the owners used to allow access, but the property was suffering damage due to overexposure. We need to be mindful of proper practice as we lose access to waterfalls with alarming frequency. Remember, leave only footprints and take only memories...and photographs.According to Joe Bob Tinsley, there are 12 more falls above Maidenhair Falls, but the entire area is privately owned.
