About This Waterfall
Marengo Falls is a uniquly shaped waterfall, initially dropping into a narrow crevice created by a natural bedrock rib which sticks up from the canyon wall, then flows in a parallel direction to the knife edge of the rib before swinging around the rock wall and tumbling down a narrow chute and then a veiling horsetail type fall. The total drop of the falls is in the order of 260 meters according to topographic data.
