About This Waterfall
Medina Falls is situated immediately downstream of where the Erie Canal spans Oak Orchard Creek in the town of Medina. The falls have been partially altered by a small concrete weir which seems to function only to direct the flow of Oak Orchard Creek away from the retaining wall which holds the Canal in place.
