If you're not taking a dip at the pools, you can explore the wilderness and do some sightseeing or just enjoy the great outdoors. Hot springs contain the following healing minerals:
There are both male and female changing rooms available at Jasper resort. You can either bring your own towels, or rent one for an additional fee. You can also use the lockers in the changing area for your personal items, so you don't have to put them right next to the springs.
To walk from one pool to the next, you will need to remove your shoes. The staff will ask you to shower before you enter the hot springs. This is to keep your feet clean. The shower is more of a rinse off, but it is important to follow the rules in order to prevent the hotsprings from being shut down. You will have three areas to relax once you've reached the hot springs.
The resort has three pools. There are two pools that are hot springs, with temperatures between 98-104 degrees. You can also find a cool down pool for those who are feeling too hot. It's a good idea for the best experience to alternate between the hot springs and the cool springs. This will allow your skin to absorb the healing mineral and open up the pores.

Fiddle Valley Cafe is available at Mietta Hot Springs. It offers sandwiches, salads and soups. It's worth bringing snacks as the food is very good. A gift shop is available to purchase souvenirs from your Jasper National Park visit.
Adventurers will find plenty to do around the hotsprings. Sulphur Skyline trail takes you to stunning views of Jasper Park. It is a difficult hike. There are other easy hikes available in the area, including Springs Trail which provides a fascinating history lesson about the origins of the springs. No matter what your preference, you can enjoy the outdoors while in Alberta and witness the Canadian Rockies as one of the top places to visit.
Jasper National Park has many options for camping. You can find campgrounds just minutes from the springs, if you're looking to get in touch with nature. Many campgrounds have places to set up tables, firepits, and hookups for rvs. For those who want a bit more pampering, there are chalets and cabins available for rent. You should make reservations in advance if you intend to spend a few days in Jasper National Park.
