About This Waterfall
Minaret Falls is a long cascading style waterfall found just outside the northern boundary of Devils Postpile National Monument on the eastern flank of the Sierra. Minaret Creek drops about 400 vertical feet in about 1/3 of a mile, but about 250 feet of that drop occurs over a run of about 500 feet. Whether the entire third of a mile can be considered the extent of the waterfall is not known.
