Description

Description
This natural spring water in Montrose Artesian Water well, Montrose, Pennsylvania, comes from the underground and is connected to a white PVC pipe at the height of about 4 feet from the ground level. The pipe is connected so that the spring water flows downwards into a well with a metal grate on its top. This makes it easy to fill up large water containers or jugs by placing them on the metal crate above the well. Water flows at a constant speed filling up the containers in a couple of minutes. Spring is protected in a small metal shack painted in white color. Not sure if it is a public or private spring. There may or may not be a fee for harvesting water from the artesian well.
