About This Waterfall
Our preliminary survey of this waterfall suggests it to be a sliding cascade type fall situated within a narrow, brush lined gorge with a vertical drop of no more than about 5-8 feet tall. If this is the correct feature to bear this name, then we suspect it was named and recognized due to its proximity to a former lumber mill and its stature as a fish barrier. The name is recognized by the USGS, and were it not officially on record, this feature would not meet the requisite for inclusion within our data.
