
About This Waterfall
The trailhead is located at the Natural Bridge day use area, a mile south of the town of Union Creek on Highway 62 west of Crater Lake National Park. The rapids are seen from the footbridge leading to the viewpoint of the Natural Bridge itself.Natural Bridge Falls is a set of rapids along the Rogue River immediately below its namesake Natural Bridge - a formation where the Rogue River has occupied a short lava tube, submerging itself underground for a few hundred feet before bubbling to the surface. This feature does not meet our requirements to be considered a waterfall. We are leaving the entry in place as a disambiguation because the feature has been mentioned prominently in Greg Plumb's "Waterfall Lovers Guide" books. The feature otherwise does not meet our requirements for waterfall status and is disqualified from being considered such.
