About This Waterfall

The book "A Waterfall Lovers Guide to the Pacific Northwest" has created a lot of confusion over the falls along the Herman Creek Trail. The book mentions a fall on Camp Creek, where there is clearly no waterfall present. To further this error, this waterfall, referred to as Falls Creek Falls in the book, has often been labeled as Camp Creek Falls itself. To clear this up, this waterfall occurs along an unnamed stream encountered about 2 1/2 miles along the trail, and there is no waterfall on Camp Creek itself. This waterfall is not named, so it has been proposed that the falls be named after the Nick Eaton Trail.
