About This Waterfall
Oksfossen is perhaps the tallest waterfall in the Kåfjord area, dropping about 535 meters (1,755 feet) out of a hanging valley on the south wall of Kåfjorddalen. The falls are fed by a small lake and several snowmelt tarns, but due to its high northern latitude the stream should be fueled by snowmelt well into the summer months.
