About This Waterfall
Ouzel Falls is one of the more significant and taller waterfalls in the Yellowstone National Park backcountry. The falls are said to drop about 230 feet, first sliding in a steep veil and then plunging freely after spreading out to a considerable width. The falls can be partially seen from the Bechler River Trail but unobstructed views require fording the Bechler River and hiking cross-country for about half of a mile.
