About This Waterfall
Commonly said to be 1719 feet tall, a figure that dates back to at least 1935, this is nothing more than a 5-6 meter tall cascade. The Rio Itajai loses about 300 meters in elevation over the 16km downstream from this point, but it hardly qualifies as a waterfall.
