About This Waterfall
Pocket Creek Falls is a significant, multi-stepped waterfall found in the northwest part of Glacier National Park near Hole in the Wall. The falls consist of at least two substantial nearly vertical drops separated by a long stretch of sliding cascades, totaling about 1,100 feet in height. There may be additional sections of falls downstream which can be included in the overall total, but the imagery available through Google Earth currently makes it difficult to discern where the bottom of the falls may legitimately be situated. The Bowman Lake Trail crosses Pocket Creek about a mile downstream from the falls, but it is not known how visible it may be or whether getting closer is possible.
