About This Waterfall
Rapunzel Falls is a tall but low volume waterfall which likely only flows during the snow melt season. The falls drop about 500 feet out of a small basin which harbors an unnamed lake a bit under 7 miles east of the southeast arm of Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. Reaching the falls will require about 6 miles of cross-country hiking from the Thorofare Trail near the mouth of Beaverdam Creek.
