About This Waterfall
Ripon Falls was the first waterfall located along the White Nile after its origin in Lake Victoria. The falls were inundated in 1954 by the construction of the Owens Falls Dam, now known as the Nalubaale Power Station. The former falls stood perhaps 20-25 feet tall.
