About This Waterfall
Röthbachfall is the tallest waterfall in Germany. It's located in the very southeast corner of the country, about 20 air miles south of Salzburg, Austria. The falls consist of three tiers, a large horsetail, a smaller plunge, and a series of sliding cascades before the stream enters meandering meadows at the head of the valley's two beautiful lakes.
