About This Waterfall
As perhaps the least famous of California's many Salmon Creek Falls, but also the largest, this very difficult-to-access horsetailing fall drops some 450 feet into the broad valley of the Kern River north of Kernville. There is no known access to the base of the falls, but distant views are available from near the Kern River Highway.
