About This Waterfall
The falls have been posted, so we've removed the directions. This is another sad reminder of the damage that can be caused by a few mindless and careless visitors.Seven Falls has been posted and is no longer accessible to the public; bad behavior by a few slovenly visitors is the reason why. Seven Falls occurs within a gorge consisting of a series of small falls and cascades where the river slides through several narrows incised in bedrock, interspersed with several shallow aqua blue pools. No individual drop is more than 8-feet tall, and most are in the range of only 2-3 feet. Each drop is separated by a small pool, some which would serve as a good swimming hole were the land accessible to the public. There is a big quartz intrusion right between two of the drops that forces the river to split around the protrusion it forms, further adding some unique character to the falls.
