About This Waterfall
Silverthread Falls is often seen as a side attraction when visiting neighboring Dingmans Falls, but there is a possibility that Silverthread Falls may actually be the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania - an indepth field survey will have to be conducted to verify this theory - which may ultimately grant it a bit more notoriety. The falls are commonly said to drop 80 feet, however topographic data suggests it may actually be closer to 150 feet tall in all.
