About This Waterfall
There seem to be several waterfalls which have bore the name Skokomish Falls along both forks of the Skokomish River. This particular fall may have been the first one to bear the name, discovered in 1890 by members of Joseph P O'Neill's extensive exploratory party looking for a route across the Olympics. The falls are said to be over 100 feet tall, falling in three steps in a narrow stretch of canyon. This part of the Skokomish Canyon is not accessible from the Skokomish River Trail, so it is unclear how one would access this waterfall.
