About This Waterfall
Slickrock Falls can be seen along the side of FR 23, about 2.1 miles east of North Fork Campground, or about 5 1/2 miles east of the junction of FR 23 and FR 68. Turnouts near the falls are scarce, so be careful when stopping for a look.Slickrock Creek forms this small roadside waterfall as it sprays down the hillside adjacent to the Cispus River Road. The falls stand about 25 feet tall and aren't notable other than the fact that they nearly fall onto the road and often are graced with rainbows. The creek drains from a very small lake located not more than 500 feet east of the road, but it could be as much as 150 vertical feet above the road, suggesting that the falls could be much taller than just 25 feet. I wouldn't suggest finding out, however, since there are much better waterfalls in the area more worthy of your time.
