About This Waterfall
Sloping Falls is the site of one of three natural bridges in Vermont, though the arch itself is actually entirely suberged and only the very top of the rock arch protrudes above the water (and only during low flow periods). The falls were once known as Bridge Falls for the submerged natural bridge appearing to form an actual bridge across the surface of the water during lower flow periods.
