About This Waterfall
Sorenson Falls is a sister waterfall to the much more powerful (and visible) Metlako Falls along Eagle Creek. Sorenson Creek veils into the gorge at Metlako Falls in a fall of about 100 feet, but is tucked into an alcove such that there are no clear views of the falls from the Eagle Creek trail, and the only way to see the falls is to rappel into the canyon or wade and swim (as in legitimately swim, not just get wet up to your waist) upstream from over half of a mile further down Eagle Creek, which also involves having to scale up a 10-foot waterfall on Eagle Creek itself. Attempting to visit this waterfall is not recommended.
