About This Waterfall
Simply by the presence of large waterfalls on the two other forks of Clear Creek I had postulated that there would be a waterfall on the South Fork for many years before I actually verified it. Upon field scouting I found a very nice 89 foot veiling fall spraying onto a long runout of talus that seems to be common in the canyons of Clear Creek. Unfortunately this waterfall cannot be seen nearly as easily as the others in the area, requiring a very steep scramble into the canyon below the falls in order to find an unobstructed view. Best to leave this one to the pros.
