Sugar Falls

Sugar Falls is noteworthy primarily for its width, though it's not clear how much of a drop the falls have either. The East Channel of the Nelson River splits into three primary sub-channels which are divided by two large islands. Sugar Falls is marked along the largest channel, which itself splits into at least six smaller channels between smaller islands, stretching as much as 500 meters from shore to shore. The next channel to the east is another 550 meters away, and the third channel is another kilometer beyond that, so the falls along those two sections of the river may rightly not be considered part of Sugar Falls.
