About This Waterfall
Superior Falls lies on the Montreal River on the border between Wisconsin and Michigan (access is from the Michigan side), dropping approximately 90 feet in three steps as the river makes its final descent to join Lake Superior. The river has been regulated by a dam upstream of the falls since 1917.
