About This Waterfall
Thunder Spring is a major resurgent spring, emerging from a cliff face below Monument Point along the north rim of the Grand Canyon and giving birth to the Thunder River (itself a tributary to Tapeats Creek). The falls occur as the spring pours from the cliff, and can be seen from the Thunder River Trail.
