About This Waterfall
An unnamed watercourse flows northwest along a jungle covered plateau and makes a series of tall leaps into a deep canyon. The first two leaps are of roughly equal height, on the order of approximately 600' (183m) each. Below this, the stream continues at a similar rate of descent before leveling out prior to entering the Río Cutevirini. The falls are named for the three most visible tiers, the three sisters. "Cataratas las Tres Hermanas" means "Waterfalls of the three sisters".
