About This Waterfall
Troublesome Falls is an unassuming (possibly seasonal) tributary waterfall found adjacent to the Index-Galena Road in the heart of Wild Sky country. The falls plunge to impact on a ledge, causing the water to veil out in a broad veil, then after socializing with a pile of logs constricts and flumes down a narrow chute and continues cascading below. The falls were measured to drop a total of 110 feet, but that figure seems somewhat high so a second measurement will likely have to be taken to verify. The unofficial name for this waterfall was chosen both after the mountain it drains from, but also because climbing upstream to the base of the falls from the road isn't exactly a simple undertaking.
