About This Waterfall

Tumala Falls is a series of falls and cascades which reportedly drops around 250 feet in multiple distinct tiers. It appears to not be possible to see the entire falls from any one spot. Access is apparently quite difficult and not at all encouraged for any less than the most seasoned bushwhackers.Tumala Creek was formerly named Squaw Creek, however the Oregon Board of Geographic Names undertook an effort to purge the name "Squaw" from the records due to its origin believed to have been in derogatory references to the female anatomy. We've changed the name of the falls accordingly (formerly listed as Squaw Creek Falls).
