About This Waterfall
Tup Tut Falls is the historical name, likely of Indian origin, of a small set of rapids along the Yakima River in the town of Prosser. The naturally occuring rapids may have had a total drop of 10-15 feet or so, however the construction of a small dam across the river has partially destroyed the feature and what remains visible below the dam appears to be simply a boulder-filled de-watered river bed (part of the falls may have been submerged by the dam as well). Functionally this feature wouldn't have qualified as a waterfall in the first place, save for its historically recognized name. As the rapids no longer exist we have opted to disqualify the feature.
