About This Waterfall
Twin Falls is a set of side-by-side waterfalls along McElhattan Creek and a tributary stream which face each other in a unique manner. The falls on McElhattan Creek is located on private property while the facing waterfall is apparently just barely found on State land. We haven't seen any indication that there is developed public access to this waterfall, so given that it partially lies on private land, we've opted to list it as Posted for the time being - it may be that there is a viable method of legal access however. Immediately above the falls is a private residence, whom have apparently experienced an increased amount of trespassing by those seeking out the waterfall as of late. It should be made abundantly clear that if you wish to visit this waterfall, you must do so from downstream of the waterfalls via public land. Do not make any attempt to visit from upstream or near McElhattan Reservoir. Stay on the north side of the tributary stream at all times in order to avoid trespassing, and please be courteous and respectful of the adjacent landowners and don't be a nuisance (and of course, please pack out anything you pack in).
