About This Waterfall

Union Falls is commonly cited as dropping 250 feet and being one of the tallest waterfalls in Yellowstone National Park. While the falls are indeed amont the most significant in the park, they are actually more like 150 feet tall - an exact measurement will require a field survey to determine but topographic data is clear enough to show it nowhere near 250 feet in height.
