About This Waterfall
This is one of many waterfalls one can view along the Skogá while hiking along the famous Laugavegur trail towards Fimmvörðuháls. The falls can be seen a short distance past Kæfufoss, but the falls drop facing away from the trail so a clear view is not possible without fording the river. The drop appears to be among the smallest along this stretch of the river as well, so given that we were somewhat pressed for time we opted to not survey this particular entry on our initial trip to the area.
