About This Waterfall
Topo maps indicate a drop of 80 meters, but there is no hashmark indicating the falls. It's possible that it denotes a series of cascades on Alec Creek, but our theory is this: given the massive landslides denoted on the map, there once was a falls on the Kokatahi River that got buried beneath the massive landslips on either side of the gorge.
