About This Waterfall
Vermilion Falls is a small waterfall along the otherwise placid Peace River in Northern Alberta. Though the falls are modest in height, dropping about 15-20 feet in all, the crest of the falls is over a mile in length and the great volume of the Peace River makes this a noteworthy waterfall in that regard. The isolated nature of the falls has kept it from achieving greater notoriety for the aspects at which it is endowed.
